Rob took his career in three directions: as a parish minister, a salesman of high-tech information systems and sole proprietor of a specialized craft business. In 2009 he began Vine Lake Preservation Trust, a nonprofit charitable corporation designed to preserve, enhance, interpret, and celebrate Medfield’s Vine Lake Cemetery founded in 1651. He holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a B.D. from Hartford Seminary Foundation.

Consulting, marketing, and sales filled Rob’s career. Today, he volunteers in two nonprofit corporations: New Life Furniture Bank of MA (Staff) and the Babson Historical Association (current President and Chairman of the Board). He holds a B.A. from Hartwick College and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of International Management.

Richard E. Hooker, Medfield, MA

Rick spent his career in the advertising industry, first working for 11 years in media and general management at a Boston advertising agency. In 1987 he co-founded Pile and Company, a consulting firm focused on marketing resources and relationships. He managed that business for 31 years as President, CEO and then Chairman before selling the company in 2018. He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Babson College.
